Welcome to Hotel Laguna Garden in the famous resort Albena - a paradise on the Black Sea coast

The spacetime conferences bring together physicists and philosophers and provide a forum where aspects and implications of the nature and ontology of spacetime are discussed. The Scientific Organizing Committee hopes that these meetings will become one of the preferred biennial forums for reporting research results and having fruitful discussions with colleagues.

To mark the 110th anniversary of Hermann Minkowski's groundbreaking lecture "Space and Time" the main theme of the Fifth International Conference on the Nature and Ontology of Spacetime will be:

On the nature of spacetime - does spacetime represent an evolving present or a block universe or a growing block universe?

Contributions on any topic on the Nature and Ontology of Spacetime are also welcome.

One of the reasons for holding the spacetime conferences on the Black Sea coast is to combine a research meeting and a vacation - there are special two-hour afternoon breaks for free discussions on the beach or around the swimming pool.
